Business Tax Preparation

T2 corporate, T5013 partnership, and T2125 self-employed returns.

Returns that hold up to scrutiny

Business returns aren’t just data entry — corporate vs. unincorporated choice, owner compensation (salary vs. dividends), the small business deduction, refundable taxes (RDTOH), and capital dividend account balances all affect the bottom line. We bring a year-round perspective to every filing so the return reflects the strategy, not just the transactions.

Frequently asked

What entity types do you prepare returns for?

Canadian-controlled private corporations (T2 — including the small business deduction), partnerships (T5013), and sole proprietorships (T2125 on the owner's T1). We also prepare related T-slips — T4 for owner salaries, T5 for owner dividends, T5013 slips for partners.

Do you work with our existing bookkeeper?

Yes. We accept books from QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave, or Sage. If your books need cleanup before filing, our bookkeeping service can do that work first.

What about HST/GST and instalments?

We calculate GST/HST instalments and corporate-tax instalments as part of every business engagement and remind you before each due date through the portal. We also prepare and file GST/HST returns where engaged to do so.

Can you file an extension if we're not ready?

Corporate T2 returns are due six months after fiscal year end (with tax payable two or three months after, depending on size and CCPC status). T5013 partnership returns are due March 31 for calendar-year partnerships. We file on-time even when documents arrive late, and apply for taxpayer relief if penalties or interest become an issue.
